Math Facts

We will be beginning a new program in our classroom to help students learn their math facts! You will be receiving a letter in their communication folders this week. If our students practice their facts daily, they will master the basic facts and will be able to solve more complex math problems.

Here is the routine for home practice:

-Read each equation to your child, have them repeat it after you.

   (For example: 2 x 4 = 8   “two times four equals 8”)

-Repeat with each equation in fact family box. 

Follow this routine with all fact families that are highlighted on your child's fact sheet (in their folder). 

Once your child masters the current fact family, they will move on to the next.
